Brush up to Some Revision Strategies
When we study, sometimes we find many subjects difficult. Sometimes there is a difficulty in understanding a topic, sometimes we forget, sometimes we do not feel like studying, sometimes we write in exams, but the marks we obtain are low, sometimes we are under stress.
Revision is an important part of preparing to pass any exam. Students often consider this to be the turning of pages of prepared notes, whereas this is not the case. As a result, good marks are not allotted.
So here we are discussing 10 right ways to revise:
- For revision, first you should make a correct timetable and follow it.
- To make revision process easy, preparation of summary notes is most important. Write topics in points with short notes. You can also take the help of drawing.
- While studying, take a break after every 40 to 50 minutes. In breaks you can do stretches. You can do yoga, walk, rest, etc..
- Try to understand hard topics at the moment when you feel the most energetic. If you still do not understand them, take someone's help.
- If you want, you can also record some topics on your phone. With this, you will not need to carry a copy or book everywhere and you can repeat your concepts anywhere as and when you get a chance.
- After a good break, give at least 10 percent of the time for revision to whatever you have studied in the whole day.
- Get enough sleep otherwise it will affect your mental health.
- During revision, you can also take help from friends and teachers. They will help strengthen your weak points.
- Prepare model test papers for yourself and try to solve them in a time limit. With this practice you will be able to know what is the level of your preparation and which subjects you need to look into.
- Do not revise in a noisy environment.
