POWER OF DETERMINATION

If there is one gift that you can give to yourself in your life to be what you want to be is the power of determination. Without it you are a mere passive spectator in the drama of your life. If there is one quality that makes a difference between a winner and a loser or a leader and a follower, it is the power of determination, without it you may dream only but you will not accomplish much in life. So friends, here I will tell you a story of one such determined person who by his determination and will power achieved the position which was impossible for him to achieve. A student used to study in a Gurukul. His teacher used to teach all the students diligently. One of the children was weak in academics. Almost all students were quite good at studies, but this child remained weak as he could not understand anything. Whenever hi teacher asked him any question, he remained quiet and answerless. The te teacher would be annoyed and called him and the teacher used to spank on the child’s palms every day. This process went on for so many days. The teacher used to hit him with a stick like this everyday . One day the teacher called him and asked some questions but usually he didn't reply by doing this. The teacher got very angry and started punishing him and he became upset with this disgusting job by his master. One day the teacher called the boy and was about to hit him on his mistake, the boy removed his hand. Then the teacher grabbed his hand and lifted the stick to beat him, suddenly he stopped. The teacher told him that there was no learning line in his hand hearing this the boy became very shocked and upset. The student again came into the classroom and showed his hand in the classroom. The teacher was surprised to see his hand full of blood and asked the boy what he had done. He showed himself to ask the teacher whether he had a line of learning in his hand now. “Can I also read?” he asked his teacher. The teacher saw that the child himself had made a line in is palm with a knife. Seeing this, the teacher became very shocked and surprised. Do you know the name of the person who had cut his hand? Yes, he was none else that Panini himself who created grammar of Sanskrit, the greatest language in the world. If you want, you can move forward with your will power and determination and achieve that mile stone which is not only limited to the lines of hands but by your own will power we can change our hands can.
