Though the proverb is very small but it carries profound meaning lying hidden. Practice is the secret of every successful man in the world. There is no alternate to the hard work and success. Let’s learn the importance of practice through the name Bruce Lee who during an interview said I’m not scared of the person who has done thousands of moves in a minute, but instead I’m scared of the person who has done the same move thousand times. From this we may learn that practising the same thing over and again only can bring forth the required success. Nobody is an inborn learner; everybody learns things through consistent practice only. Nobody can perform well in his field if he does not practise on regular basis. Knowledge is a big thing but if practice is not done, knowledge cannot take us to our goal. Action performed with proper planning and regular practice leads a person towards perfection. Practice is the best habit and if we develop it from the childhood with the help of our parents and teachers, we would never be at the back end. Practice teaches us a lot. So whenever we feel depressed or demotivated, and if we do not feel like doing anything, we should not feel scared of failure, but instead we should keep practising with full fervour until we attain perfection. Even a rope can also mark its presence on the stone if rubbed against the stone incessantly. Once Sachin Tendulkar, the Lord of cricket was bowled out at the hands of Brad Hogg, one of the Australian cricketers. Hogg was too much over joyous at this moment and sought Sachin’s autograph on the same ball Sachin got out with. Hogg wished to keep that ball forever with him as a token of his initial success, but Sachin then took the ball and challenged Hogg saying writing on the ball that the same moment would never be repeated in future as long as they both played. And it did come true when Hogg could never take Sachin’s wicket till the moment they both got retired. This is Confidence that made Sachin invincible at the hands of Brad Hogg in around 35 matches along with Hogg thereafter. Sachin made earth and sky one with his untiring practice to prove his challenge to Hogg a real one. Practice is the key to success whatsoever.
