Set Goals
Having goals for things or dreams we want to do and achieve along with working towards them is an important part of human life.
Athletes, successful business people and achievers all set goals. Setting goals gives you long-term vision and short-term motivation to achieve them. It’s a fact that people who set goals are more likely to achieve results than those who simply just work hard or dream.
Your goals must be "measurable" "attainable," "relevant," ,and "time-bound." Each SMART goal you create should have these four characteristics. Everybody wants a gold medal. Few people want to train like an Olympian.
Setting a Goal is not only about choosing the rewards but also the costs you are willing to pay in order to achieve it. The determination and eagerness to accomplish your goals must be there in your personality.
Writing your goals out means you’ll be anywhere from 12 to 14 times more likely to fulfil them. To set goals that truly motivate, you must understand why you want to achieve your goal.
Many people set an end date in order to motivate themselves to work hard — but this often results in them becoming demotivated the moment they fall off the track.
